April 1: Northwoods Shooting Range Opens. Get out and shoot.
April 16: Monthly NWWC Meeting @ Northwoods Shooting Range, 5 miles south of Mercer off HWY 51. 7:00pm.
May 21: Monthly NWWC Meeting @ Northwoods Shooting Range, 5 miles south of Mercer off HWY 51. 7:00pm.
June 6: Wednesday Open Trap starts. Every Wednesday at 5:00PM, weather permitting, into September. Shoot for fun. Everyone welcome.
June 18: Monthly NWWC Meeting @ Northwoods Shooting Range, 5 miles south of Mercer off HWY 51. 7:00pm.
July 16: Monthly NWWC Meeting @ Northwoods Shooting Range, 5 miles south of Mercer off HWY 51. 7:00pm.
July 29: 21st Annual NWWC Gun Show @ Manitowish Waters Community Center. 8:00am to 4:00pm. Public Welcome. TWO BUILDINGS THIS YEAR. Lunch available.
August 1: Deadline for applications for: Fall Turkey, Fisher, Otter, and Bobcat Permits.
August 1: Mercer Loon Day.

November 16: Sight-In Day at the Northwoods Shooting Range. 8AM until dark. Targets and hearing protection available.
November 17: Opening day of Gun Deer Season! Be careful and Good Luck!!!
November 26 - December 5: Muzzleloader Season. Keep your powder dry & shoot straight…
December 1: Northwoods Shooting Range Closes for the season.
December 10: Deadline for Applications for: Spring Turkey & Bear Permits.
December 17: December Monthly NWWC Meeting & CHRISTMAS PARTY @ Mercer Community Center. Bring a dish to pass.
WHAT: Northwoods Wildlife and Wetlands Club
WHO: Members from Iron, Vilas, and Ashland Counties, centered around Mercer, Manitowish and Manitowish Waters communities. Everyone that enjoys the shooting sports and/or hunting, fishing or the outdoors is welcome to join. We have many down-state and some out of state members too!
WHY: Our goal is to provide conservation education, and outdoor sporting opportunities including shooting, archery, and hunting. Projects include hunter education, shooting instruction, development and operation of a shooting range and archery range, trap league, archery league, and Adopt-A-Highway.
WHERE: Meetings are the 3rd Monday every month and are held at the Range or in December at the Mercer Community Center. Meetings start at 7:00 PM. Everyone is Welcome! Most activities are held at the Northwoods Shooting Range, five miles south of Mercer on the east side of US Highway 51, on RANGE RD. There is a sign on Highway 51. Stop in and take a look at the range.
Our goal is to provide conservation, hunter education, and carry out related projects.
